A mill is part of the town it stands in. Our plant in Mwea buys from local farms, employs local people and supports the community that keeps it running.

Farmer partnerships

We buy maize and paddy directly from Kenyan farmers, with clear grading standards and prompt payment so growers can plan the next season with confidence.

Local employment

Milling, rice processing, feed production, packing and logistics are staffed largely from Mwea and the surrounding wards, with on-the-job training in food safety and machine operation.

Schools and community support

  • Food donations to schools and community programmes.
  • Support for local events and youth initiatives.
  • Nutrition awareness through our retail and distributor network.
